Raising up little ones in Perilous Times

I've been thinking a lot about Psalm 103 over the last several weeks--trying to absorb its beautiful words into my heart and mind. One verse stands out to me in light of a conversation we had at Bible study one evening. This verse deserves an enduring place in your heart and mind.

"But from everlasting to everlasting
 the Lord's Love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children's children--
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts"
(Psalm 103:17-18 NIV84).

Pray for your children and grandchildren whenever they come to mind! Love and encourage them every chance you get. Then roll the burden of anxiety you have been carrying onto the Lord Jesus who is able to keep them safe and give you His peace. 

Which reminds me of another of my favorite promises, this one is from the book of Isaiah, 

"Thou wilt keep him 
in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed
on thee: Because he trusteth in thee"
(Isaiah 26:3 KJV).
